To celebrate its 91st Anniversary, the Indian Air Force (IAF) organized an aerial exhibition above Bhojtal Lake in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The event thrilled the city with mesmerizing aerobatic displays, showcasing the nation's air prowess. The CH-47F (I) Chinook helicopters from the Indian Air Force delivered breathtaking aerobatic performances over Bhojtal Lake in Bhopal.
Earlier in the day, the IAF shared on X, "On the occasion of our #91stAnniversary, the Indian Air Force will be conducting an aerial display at Bhojtal Lake in Bhopal." Prior to this, the Central Air Command (CAC) had offered a glimpse of SU 30s executing a Trishul Manoeuvre during an air display practice. Additionally, the Suryakirans performed over Bhojtal Lake in Bhopal.
In preparation for the Indian Air Force's air show at the Boat Club on Saturday, scheduled at the Upper Lake, the traffic police have issued specific traffic and parking guidelines.
Access to the Boat Club event will be limited to pass holders, and passes have been distributed for attendance. Meanwhile, arrangements have been made along VIP Road, from Retghat to Khanugaon, to allow the general public to witness the program.
For those arriving via VIP Road, designated parking areas include Sadar Manzil, the Old RTO Office, and near Koh-e-Fiza Square. They will then need to access VIP Road on foot. Please note that vehicle entry from Polytechnic Square and Kilol Park in the direction of the Boat Club will be restricted.
To accommodate the general public interested in viewing the program, specific arrangements have been made along VIP Road, spanning from Retghat to Khanugaon. Pass holders attending the event can choose to park their vehicles in designated areas such as the Polytechnic College campus, Manas Bhawan campus, in front of Bharat Bhawan, and the Tagore Girls Hostel campus.
