The Tangerine '1989 (Taylor’s Version)' vinyl, along with three Deluxe Poster Edition CDs, will be exclusively available at Target.
Taylor Swift is continuing to build anticipation for the release of "1989 (Taylor’s Version)" on October 27th. On Wednesday, September 13th, the superstar revealed that an exclusive bonus track will accompany the tangerine edition of the vinyl.
The vinyl, along with three Deluxe Poster Edition CDs featuring exclusive interior photos, will be exclusively sold at Target and can be pre-ordered here.
The unveiling of the Tangerine Edition vinyl comes just a few weeks after a series of vinyl announcements, which were not exclusive to Target. These included versions in aquamarine green and yellow, known as the "Sunrise Boulevard" editions.
Swift unveiled "1989 (Taylor’s Version)" during her final performance at the Los Angeles SoFi Stadium on August 9. Originally released in 2014, the album dominated the Billboard 200 albums chart for a remarkable 11 weeks.
"1989 (Taylor’s Version)" marks Swift's fourth re-recorded album since she initiated her project in 2019. The preceding three all achieved No. 1 on the Billboard 200: "Fearless (Taylor’s Version)" for two weeks in 2021, "Red (Taylor’s Version)" for one week in 2021, and "Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)" for two weeks in 2023.
In other Taylor-related news, the artist clinched a staggering nine awards at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday night (September 12), elevating her career total to 23 victories—second only to Beyoncé, who boasts 30 wins on the all-time VMAs leaderboard.
